Following months of hard negotiation, we were finally awarded a contract for an offshore fuel gas package consisting of 2 adjacent skid units c/w interconnecting pipework. The first skid consists of a knock-out drum, two inlet gas sources and split duty pressure control. The second skid incorporates filters and duty/standby shell & tube oil heat exchangers. There is a very limited space envelope available on the platform, and coupled with stringent stress analysis requirements, this is a design challenge! In addition, the vessels must comply with the requirements of both ASME & PED.

LTCS materials have been specified upstream with stainless steel being used downstream. The specifications are very onerous and the lead time is extremely tight.
