Pipeline Integrity (PIMS) Applications

The gas transmission networks are continually at risk of failure. These risks if not controlled will cost millions of dollars to operators and shippers in lost downtime and repairs. Pipeline and equipment integrity issues can also harm personnel and then be a threat to the public.

Leaks due to corrosion and pipeline blockages due to Hydrates are very real problems for the industry. Flow assurance is key. Continuous monitoring of the physical chemistry of the gas provides an early warning of immediate or future problems.
